Product description

Ductile iron pipes are produced by adding a nodulizing agent to molten iron to achieve nodulization, then casting into shape using centrifugal force in a centrifuge. After annealing, these pipes acquire a ferritic matrix structure, commonly referred to as nodular pipes, ductile iron pipes, or simply ductile pipes. The ductile iron pipes from Meide Group significantly outperform those of competitors. With a comprehensive size range from DN80 to DN2600, they strictly adhere to international and national standards, making them suitable for applications in water supply, drainage, and more. Additionally, Meide Group offers full-process technical guidance, efficient logistics distribution, and long-term after-sales tracking services.

Customer challenge

Enhancing the service life of pipeline systems

Although traditional steel pipes have high strength, their corrosion resistance is poor, making them prone to rust and requiring frequent maintenance and replacement, resulting in a shorter service life.

Improving Connection Methods

Traditional welding methods often present significant challenges during construction. Welding requires substantial manpower and time, and the quality of the weld is heavily dependent on the skill level of the operator. This frequently leads to issues where the welding quality fails to meet the required standards.

Fluid Transport Function

Corrosion Resistance Function

Ductile iron pipes serve as the primary conveyance conduits in water supply and drainage systems, capable of transporting a variety of fluid media. Their stable performance and reliable connection methods ensure the smooth and efficient transport of fluids within the pipeline.
The interior walls of these pipes are lined with anti-corrosion coatings such as cement mortar, while the exterior walls are treated with zinc spraying and additional anti-corrosion coatings (e.g., zinc spray + asphalt paint coating, epoxy coal tar coating, etc.), providing excellent resistance to corrosion.
