Product description
The ZSJZ type water flow indicator is composed of a valve body, a baffle plate, and a microswitch. It is mainly installed on the horizontal main pipes of stratified or zoned automatic sprinkler systems, serving the role of detecting and indicating alarm zones in the automatic sprinkler system. Once a fire breaks out in a specific area, the system activates, and the sprinkler head sprays water, causing water to flow through the pipeline. When the system water passes through the indicator, it impacts the baffle plate inside the water flow indicator, causing it to deflect and tilt in the direction of the water flow. The action rod then presses against the sub-miniature electrical switch, closing the electrical contacts and generating an electrical contact signal. This converts the water flow signal into an electrical signal, which activates the electrical alarm system or directly starts electrical equipment such as fire pumps. Meanwhile, the control panel displays that a fire has occurred in the area (or floor) controlled by this zone and emits an alarm, prompting the main sprinkler pump to continuously supply water for fire extinguishing. When the water flow stops, the baffle plate and action rod reset, the switch contacts open, and the electrical contact signal is eliminated.
